Our
History
We have been in the woodworking industry for over 30 years.
We began manufacturing tables for the retail industry, as well as the manufactured housing industry. After a few years we acquired the capability to produce case goods and began supplying the hotel and nursing home industry as well.
Mouldings Unlimited, Inc. was started in 1985 as Re-Kim, Inc. For six years we continued supplying the industry with tables, cabinets, and consumer products.
During these 21 years our knowledge of the industry, woodworking equipment and processes grew steadily. In 1992 we acquired our first molder in order to produce wood parts for our products in a more efficient manner. It wasn't long before we began to produce mouldings and millwork for other people as well.
By 1995 the moulding and millwork had grown to the point of being 50 percent of our business and it was becoming difficult to manufacture molding and furniture in the same facility.
After careful thought, we decided to sell our furniture operation and concentrate on molding and millwork. We have never looked back.
In 1998 we changed our name to Mouldings Unlimited, Inc., which is a more descriptive name of the products we produce. Our moulding business has grown steadily since 1995. We believe we have one of the finest moulding facilities in the southeast and hope to continue on our present course.

Our goal is to provide our customers with a quality product at a competitive price while also providing them with the service and integrity they demand in today’s economy.
We believe that these goals can best be accomplished by constantly striving to improve our people, the physical plant, and the equipment and processes that we use to produce our products.
